Charlie Drinkwater
After contacting TV Priest about featuring them in my publication. Their frontman, Charlie Drinkwater offered to work on an exclusive art piece to accompany their interview. I looked at some of his previous work and amazed to see his work within the alternative scene and the amount of connections he had in this space as an artist.
I was very excited to have him work on a piece that could be displayed inside the publication. On the (right) you can see the artwork he created for the publication. When interviewed - I asked him about it, he said:
"The art piece is called ‘A Very Nice Car For A Horrible Man/International Freight and Shipping’. It’s a little hint at some of the themes we’ve explored in a forthcoming single; ideas of consumption, supply and demand, wants and needs, who deserves and who gets, when you are a member of a globalised late capitalist society."
His Work
