What is Yuck Magazine?

Yuck Magazine is an independent arts, culture and music publication, based in Manchester. Founded in 2018 by a group of young creatives, the magazine is a growing family of artists, writers, photographers and designers.

This is a relatively new magazine with a small following of 1k followers on instagram. However they've received backing from acclaimed artists 'FUR' and many others.

My Thoughts on the Magazine?

I've known about Yuck for a while, since Issue 1 was released to be precise. I think when seeing a magazine first start up - its interesting to see how their style develops. I personally think that Yuck are looking at the current competitors and take high insperation from magazines such as DIY Mag, Loud and Quiet and other modern style magazines. I dont own a copy of Yuck magazine however I'd like to, as i'd be able to see what may be affordable printing wise, as they're a good indication of what I could do when it comes to printing my publication
