Designing the Cover

Once I had laid out the structure to my publication, I felt I had enough of an idea of how it looked in order to start work on the cover design. 

I wanted to take original elements that I had used in the previous version and implement them into my next design such as, the logo, type placement etc. However, I wanted to improve on them and look at what needed work.

I felt the date element needed to be scrapped. It was unnecessary and only created a difficult timeframe to stick to if I decided to continue this project in the future.

I also wanted to lose the 'featuring:' as it felt this was self-explanatory and unnecessary. I also increased the size of the bands listed - as I wanted them to be more visible.
