I needed to start thinking about gathering written content for my magazine and knew that I wanted to get in contact with some bands about arranging interviews. I did this by looking up each band I was interested in featuring in the magazine, then finding their email or managers email - and sending asking whether they had time to answer a few questions.
Most of them replied, and here are the questions I asked the bands.

Additionally it's worth mentioning I wanted to write content about some of these bands, providing my own personal opinion on them and what they're up to.
This would be sourced through various media outlets, band websites, social media etc.
